OFF-SCHEDULE Practices:
In order to maintain skillsets and qualifications, the Blue Angels pilots have been conducting what we call, “Off-Schedule” practices several days per week throughout the government shutdown! We seldom know the layout of the following week ahead of time but follow our Facebook page for the latest news on this.

Please reference the information below for locations to watch these off-schedule practices.

National Naval Aviation Museum (Parking Lot Only)
The National Naval Aviation Museum is “hard-closed” to all patrons during the Government Shutdown. Spectators that have a DoD ID can escort up to 15 guests known to them in one vehicle, and watch from the Museum’s parking lot. The museum building is closed and locked and only portable restrooms are available outside.
Target Store (parking lot) Details:
Can’t enter the base? Target is a great location! The store is located at 2950 S. Blue Angel Parkway, Pensacola, Florida 32506. You can easily arrive to the location 15-30 minutes prior to the demonstration beginning. While in the parking lot, make sure that you don’t impede the flow of traffic.

Fort Pickens (National Park) Details:
Are you looking for a zoomed-out, wide-angle view of the Blue Angels demonstration? Fort Pickens is a great option for you! The Fort is part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore and charges an entrance fee of $25 per car. This area gets crowded and should consider arriving 60-90 minutes prior to the demonstration beginning.
